Val de Cid 2010 is one of the most exclusive red wines from D.O. “Vinos de la Tierra de Castilla y León”, not only because of its limited production but for its special processing. Aged for 16 months in French oak barrels, this wine has many of the characteristics of French wines, such as intense aromas of spices and clean leather.
It has the label of Ecological for not using pesticides at any stage of the process.
Mixture of varieties: Tempranillo (75%), Cabernet Sauvignon (20%) and Merlot (5%).
Tasting note: Intense cherry colour and good intensity layer. Noticeable intense aromas of ripe fruit, spices, clean leather with wild touches and fine roasted Wood.
Pairing: Perfect for grilled red meats, roasts and cheeses. Drink at a temperature between 16 and 18 °. To decant.
