Terras Gauda is considered one of the best white wines in Spain, both by critics and by the known lover "Albariño" white wine. The fame is winning Bodegas Terras Gauda is well deserved, the professionalism of the winery and its vineyards quality make Terras Gauda 2014 is one of the softest and fruity white wines that you can taste.
Notes: We do not consider it necessary to decant this wine. This wine should be drunk young at and we do not recommend aging.
Sommelier recommendation: The wine is rich on the palate and deserves seafood, specially oysters and crab, perfect with Asian cuisine with rich and spicy sauces.
Tasting note: Terras Gauda is the perfect blend of the best native Rías Baixas varieties: 70% Albariño, 18% Loureira and 12% Caiño Blanco. A greenish-yellow in colour, this wine has a generous nose of ripe peach, orange peel, white flower and baked apple; the mouth is round with hints of mineralogy and mountain herbs (pine and eucalyptus). It finishes crisp and clean revealing its stunning structure and balance in acidity.
